Why Advertise on our Website?

These days, more and more people use the internet to search for the information, products or services they need. If you run any sort of business, it's now more essential than ever to be in easy reach of potential clients, who are looking for what you offer. Advertising online allows you to show the world what you do, and also allows you to change your details with more flexibility than traditional methods, making it a cheaper and more efficient way of promoting your practice.

We understand however, that many people still don't feel confident or comfortable using a computer to help them promote their work, and they need it to be as easy as possible. Have you ever landed on the home page of a large national or international holistic health directory, hoping to add your practice details, only to find so much other information there, its hard to know where to begin?

There are many online directories out there, that offer you the space to list your practice, in varying degrees of detail, for various charges. They claim to have many thousands of visitors every month, which gives the impression that a lot of those visitors will also see your listing.

However, on websites that carry additional banner advertising, articles or information about therapies etc, many of the visitors that count as 'hits', may just be visiting the site out of general interest, and not actually looking for a practitioner - and if they are looking for one, there's a good chance they'll be led away from that site by targeted advertising at the side of the page!

Here at Holistic Promotions, we like to keep things simple. We allow visitors to easily focus on the practitioner listings on each page, without putting anything else there to distract them.

So, although you'll find a basic description of each therapy on our pages (to help visitors make the right choice of treatment), our aim is not to be an information provider, but to primarily offer an ethical place online where holistic health professionals can successfully promote their work.

In addition, our website is regional - so the majority of our visitors (and we get thousands too!) will come from this area to start with, and will be actively searching for therapy providers in the North West region.

Your Practice/ Business name
Your own name
Your landline and mobile phone numbers (if applicable)
Up to 6 towns that you either practise in, or visit clients in (useful for mobile therapists)
The general county area you're based in
Up to five of the therapies you offer
Your qualifications / registrations / memberships
Whether you visit clients in their own home or workplace
Your email address (in 'anti spam' format)
Your website address (from which we automatically give you a link to your website)
Your practice address (if required)

PLUS... up to 150 words to write a generous profile about yourself, your work and
any additional therapies you offer that are not already shown...

Your listing will be carefully prepared for you, and all the details you include will be shown clearly
in a separate display box on your chosen Therapy pages.
You can select up to five different therapies to be listed under, within the same geographical area.

All this costs just £20 for a full year's advertising!

After your first year, it becomes even cheaper - you can renew your listing for another year at only £18.

(When you're first listed, your details are added to the top of the Area lists for each of your chosen therapies - gradually moving down the page over time, as more listings are added. Each time you renew it for a further year, your listing is moved back up to top postion in rotation, to give it more prominence on the page).

How we try and make it easy for you...

As part of the service, we also try to help you present your details in a professional way...

You might not be the world's best at spelling, or setting out a professional looking profile,
which is why we offer to do most of the work for you.
We don't ask you to edit your listing yourself on our site, (where you have to log in and use a password).

All you have to do is to fill in and submit an easy to use form on the website, and we carefully prepare an online listing for you, based on the details you provide. We'll check the wording, make any minor adjustments, and make sure your entry looks professional and does you justice!
If anything looks obviously out of place, we'll check this with you before your listing goes live.

If you ever want to change anything, such as contact details, qualifications etc, you only need to enter those details into the Therapists Update Form, and we'll then update your listing online for you.

To further assist you, we also provide Help & Advice pages on the website, which you can refer to while you're filling in any of the forms. You'll find links to these pages at the top of each form.
