established her clinic ENERGIA VITAL
since 2006. The clinic is situated in a prestigious
Georgian building in the market town of Congleton,
Cheshire.
Helping clients to improve their health,
the clinic provides Acupuncture, Acupressure,
Cosmetic Acupuncture, Electro-Acupuncture, Ear Acupuncture,
Cupping, Reflexology, Reiki, Reiki training and
Therapeutic Energy Kinesiology. Please note
that any of these therapies can work as supporting
techniques to a conventional treatment or used on

Treatments are offered for a diversity of health issues,

We are a husband and wife team offering on-site
seated Acupressure Massage, Reiki and
EFT.
We have corporate and private
clients. For the corporate clients we offer
10 minute sessions and for private clients half hour
sessions. For those unable to receive acupressure
we offer Reiki. All treatments are done through the
clothing, no oils are used. It leaves the client revitalised,
re-energised and eased of aches and
pains.
Our corporate work takes us all over
the North West to companies such as Regenda Group,
Knowsley MBC, Medicash, etc. Helping to create
a healthier, happy workforce. Private client
visits are mainly in the Merseyside area.

I have been practicing
holistic therapies for over 17
years, I also trained in India
to be a Yoga Teacher at the Sivananda
Ashram in 2004. I now work intuitively
with all my experiences in the field of holistic
health, integratiing yoga
and meditation practices, with massage
therapy and healing, more
recently working with sound healing
using my voice and a shamanic
drum.
This works on a very subtle level helping the recipient
to unblock and rebalance the subtle energies
of the energetic system which is
working on a deeper level than just the physical
body. Sound healing sessions also
combine well with holistic
massage therapy.
I run sound and movement workshops
called Heartsounds which are fun, very freeing creatively
incorporating primordial sound and mantra
etc..
I work with my friend and Yoga colleague, Chelsea
Canovas in running Yoga retreats in Snowdonia
twice a year.
My main aim is to facilitate people
in their own healing process in
a way that treats the person as a whole,
working with mind, body, energy and
awareness... not forgetting a bit of
laughter therapy here and there!

ABOUT ACUPRESSURE...
Acupressure
is a therapy based on the same principles as Acupuncture, but instead
of using needles, pressure is applied with the fingers and thumbs
to key points on the surface of the body. According to Traditional
Chinese Medicine, the life force energy in the body, (chi) flows
through the body in a series of pathways, or meridians. If this
energy flow becomes blocked or slow, illness or pain can result.
A skilled acupressure practitioner knows exactly where to apply
pressure to on the body, to treat different symptoms.
Acupressure can be used to relieve stress, tension and headaches,
increase blood circulation and remove toxins from the body, help
relieve muscular aches and pains, and help to promote an overall
feeling of well being and increased energy.
On-Site Seated Acupressure Massage is based on a traditional
Japanese massage called 'Anma'. Its present form was developed in
the USA in the 1980s, as an effective and refreshing type of massage
in the workplace. Designed to combat upper body tension brought
on by prolonged repetitive work, this therapy has now also become
very popular in the UK corporate sector.
The client sits fully clothed for around 15 to 30 minutes in a specially
designed chair, whilst the practitioner applies varying degrees
of pressure to the acupressure points on the head, neck, back, shoulders,
arms and hands. No oils are used and in a short time the client
feels relaxed, energised, motivated - and ready to return to work.
It is an easy and effective way of creating a feeling of wellbeing
at work for all levels, from junior employee up to senior management.
