Bioenergy is the term for the life force energy which is an integral part of our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.
A harmonious balance between all these aspects of ourselves is essential for good health - if this balance is upset, this can later manifest as illness.

BioEnergetic Medicine combines ancient healing techniques with modern science and quantum physics. It involves the testing, analysis and treatment of our bioenergy systems through the meridians, or energy channels in the body. Unlike in orthodox medicine, where the focus is mainly on the chemical and physical aspects of the body, bioenergetic medicine works with the body's electromagnetic field, and is capable of detecting subtle early changes in our energy flow - sometimes long before standard medical tests can show there's a problem. Therefore it may be useful for identifying potential illness in the early stages.

The methods Bioenergetic practitioners use, to determine where the imbalances occur in the system, can vary. Some use holistic therapy techniques such as kinesiology or iridology, whilst others use special bioresonance equipment, designed to both measure and treat disturbances in the body's energy field. Bioenergetic testing and analysis is a non invasive procedure and can be carried out on people of all ages, including children.

A range of treatment can be used to help restore the body's natural energetic balance, and your chosen practitioner will suggest the best options for your needs. Therapeutic treatment may include one or a combination of therapies, nutritional supplements, herbal or homeopathic remedies and advice about possible lifestyle or dietary changes.
