I am a fully qualified Advanced Hypnotherapist,

I also work at the North Staffs Harplands
Hospital for acute mental health, where
I utilise the same techniques in my private practice
at The Hope Street Centre as I do with patients

a Chartered Psychologist I have
been providing a range of Assessment and Development

I gained my NLP Practitioner and Master
Practitioner qualifications in the early
90s and became an accredited NLP Psychotherapist
in 1998. Since then I trained to advanced level
in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing
(EMDR), the most thoroughly researched
method of trauma treatment. I
have been using EMDR for several years to help
clients with PTSD process single
and complex trauma: it is a very powerful
approach. In 2008 I qualified as an EMDR
Practitioner and in 2009 I became an
EMDR Europe Approved Consultant.
I specialise in working with
clients reporting PTSD, depression, anxiety,
phobia, travel phobia; abuse, stress-related illness;
weight and pain management; increasing confidence
and self-esteem. I also supervise other
practitioners.
I offer daytime appointments Monday to
Thursday inclusive, and early evening
appointments on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. |

ABOUT NEURO LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING...
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP),
was originally created in the 1970s by Richard Bandler and John
Grinder. They observed and studied the successes of top therapists
and communicators of the day, and then formulated 'models' that
could be used by anyone to duplicate similar results.
Not so much a therapy, but a system of personal development, NLP
uses the study of excellence in behaviour and communication techniques
to show how the mind works through the senses. Learning NLP can
give you the skills to help you find out what you want from life,
and can help you achieve your goals, giving you greater control
over your emotions, whilst enhancing performance in all aspects
of your life.
Drawing
from the most useful aspects of modern psychology, NLP training
