OUR PHILOSOPHY
HOW THE NORTH WEST DIRECTORY OF NATURAL HEALING CAME INTO BEING...

The North West Directory of Natural Healing was created by, and is still mainly operated by Liz Caine, who has herself been attuned to Reiki Level 2, and 1st Phase Magnified Healing®.
She is based in Wirral, Merseyside.

The idea came from the awareness that there are many people here in the North West UK who are searching for alternative ways to improve their health and well being.

We know there are many skilled practitioners, healers and teachers who are working with Light and Love in our region, not just in the southern areas of the country, where there seems to be more concentrated advertising.

This website was lovingly created to help guide those who are looking to those who are offering the healing, support or the tools for growth that they might need, at the time when they need it.

Why a Directory just for the North West?

We decided to keep the directory to one main region, to focus attention on what we have to offer here, and to create a connected regional community of Holistic Practitioners and Lightworkers...

There are many people who'd like to try holistic treatments or healing, but could be put off if they have to travel half way across the country to visit a suitable practitioner. If they can easily find someone in their own area, they're more likely to book regular treatment sessions.

Many of the practitioners that have been on the site for a while tell us
they are very pleased with this Directory as it has brought them regular clients.

There are also many Meditation, Spiritual Development and Yoga classes available around the North West, but it's often difficult to find out about them, except by word of mouth. As they generally charge very little to attend, it doesn't cover the cost of any regular advertising. That's why we offer free entries to these groups and classes, to help the people who really want to attend and benefit from these groups, find what they're looking for more easily.

The website is also designed to help you in other ways...

We'd love to think that you will use the Directory to connect and network with others in your locality, pass on information and share opportunities for growth and support.

There are details of organisers of regular MBS Events that you can either exhibit at or visit,
to sample some new ideas and support the work of others.
Try something new - attend one of the Workshops or Talks we have advertised,
or organise one of your own and tell others about it on our site.

There is a comprehensive list of organisations on the site, where you can find out more about different therapies, how they are regulated, and where you can train.

We also have our own page for advertising Courses of different types in the North West.

Our Products & Services directory was designed to offer a range of ethical/ holistic goods, and professional services (such as insurance for therapists), that you may find useful.

There is a section where you can find Meditation or Spiritual Development classes,
and don't forget to visit our Links page, which contains links to some wonderful websites of inspirational and spiritual interest.
