Jackie Fairweather was a successful fitness instructor and personal trainer, but following shoulder injuries sustained in a car accident in 1995, she was unable to continue down this career path. While living in Belgium she was introduced to Five Element Acupuncture to help relieve pain and regain movement from her injuries whilst addressing the emotional issues.

Jackie became a qualified and licensed acupuncturist in May 2002. She treated many patients in her final year at college and then set up a busy practice in Egham, Surrey, before relocating to West Kirby with her family in 2003.
