I
have been practising homeopathy for over 20 years,
and also teaching it abroad. I am experienced in treating
long term chronic conditions as well
as more functional problems. I enjoy treating
children including those with developmental
problems.
Homeopathy is a gentle therapy which treats the
whole person, not just the disease label, and can
offer long term health for many who had given
up hope.
It is also especially helpful at the transitional
moments in life like puberty and the menopause, and
for acute illnesses.
My normal fees are £60 first appointment, £35 follow
ups. Ask about concessions for children
and those with financial problems. |

ABOUT YOGA THERAPY...
YOGA THERAPY is increasingly finding a place as a
natural system of remedial healthcare in the UK.
The
health benefits of regular yoga practice have long been recognised,
and many people today attend classes or practise at home.
Although general classes can help to improve over all health and wellbeing,
a trained Yoga Therapist offers a more personal approach, and will
tailor the physical postures and yoga practices to the needs of the
individual, to address specific health problems. The Yoga techniques
are not just used to restore health and mobility, but can also be
regarded as a preventative measure against possible future health
issues, either physical, mental or emotional.
Yoga therapy can be beneficial in treating many conditions, including
anxiety and depression, arthritis, high blood pressure, headaches
and migraine, back and joint pain, sports injuries, asthma and more.
Yoga therapists are well qualified and experienced yoga teachers,
who will also have undergone further in-depth training in the therapeutic
uses of yoga, for various medical conditions. The therapist will use
a variety of physical postures, breathing exercises, meditation and
relaxation techniques as appropriate, for your specific health issues,
and the sessions can either be on a one-to-one basis, or in small
groups, to allow for individual attention. Practising at home in between
sessions is also part of the process, which encourages you to play
an important role in your own recovery.
A significant improvement should be noticed within the first few weeks
of starting the therapy, and ongoing sessions and regular home practice
or attending yoga classes could bring further continued health benefits
over the following months, and possibly throughout your entire life.

The Therapists Directory on this website is designed
primarily to provide a space where holistic health professionals and
healers can advertise their work. Whilst certain general criteria
have to be fulfilled before being given a listing on our site, the
fact that a therapist or practitioner's details are on display here
does not imply any personal or professional recommendation by Holistic
Promotions. We accept the details offered to us by each practitioner
in good faith - that includes relevant qualifications, memberships/registrations
etc. and confirmation that they are insured to practice. Each practitioner
listed should be happy to show you evidence of all these things if
you ask them - which we advise you to do at the first appointment
or sooner, for your own peace of mind. We can accept no responsibility
for the action, behaviour or malpractice of any practitioner listed
on this site.
Information about therapies shown on these pages is for general interest
and guidance only, and is not intended to replace professional healthcare
advice. As this directory is purely an advertising medium for holistic
health practitioners, we do not offer an information service, and
are unable to answer enquiries about specific therapies, training,
etc. If you need further information, please contact the relevant
listed practitioners, or Therapy Associations, Councils or
Regulatory bodies - many of which you will find listed on
our ADDRESSES & INFO
page.
